Jon Pickles

Jon is an experienced Finance Director with a strong background in technology and learning companies. He is a Chartered Management Accountant with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity fundraising, business coaching, financial, and HR management.
Prior to joining Dukes Education, Jon was Finance Director of ILX Group PLC, an AIM-quoted training and technology business with operations in Australia, New Zealand, Dubai, Denmark, mainland Europe, and the United States. 

John Wilson

John is an Oxford graduate with an honours degree in Biological Sciences, also holding a PGCE from Cambridge. He brings his expertise in the biological and medical sciences to Dukes, along with his extensive knowledge of medical school admissions. John is a lay member of the university admissions panel for medical school undergraduate entry at UCL (University College London) and has also performed this role at Imperial College and Queen Mary University in London.

Emma Wylie

Emma has been Head of Human Resources at Dukes Education since September 2014 and stepped up to lead our employee engagement as Director of People in 2016. She uses her years of experience in education training and recruitment for the benefit of the whole group.

The College was established in 1999 for the purpose of providing a traditional and focused academic education. Acorn House offers a variety of one- and two-year GCSE and A Level courses, all taught by highly experienced specialist teachers. In Acorn House’s very first year, it came top of all tutorial colleges in the London area in A Level results. Many years on, the school remains one of the leading colleges in London, based on published league tables.

Aatif Hassan

Aatif founded Dukes Education in 2015 and leads our London day schools. He is also Chairman of Cavendish Education, a group of six schools for pupils with dyslexia and autism schools; and Deputy Chairman of Governors of St James Independent Schools (including Chairman of the Finance & Estates Committee and Chairman of St James Junior School). Aatif is also on the advisory board of EdEx UK and Woxsen School of Business.

Aatif has a first class degree in Mathematics and Economics and also had a British Army commission.
